Gallerist Programme
Start of course: October 2012
In October 2012, de Appel arts centre and The Fair Gallery (gb agency, Paris; Hollybush Gardens, London; Jan Mot, Brussels; Raster, Warsaw) will launch the new professional development programme the Gallerist Programme.
Download the online application from the side bar, following the specific directions and requests found on the form and submit your application to: gp-application@deappel.nl. All applicants will receive a confirmation of receipt within a week by e-mail.
On the basis of the submitted documents, fifteen candidates will be short-listed. These candidates will be invited to come to Paris in the last week of June for an interview with an international jury, who will select the final ten participants of the inaugural Gallerist Programme 2012-2013.
All applicants who are not selected for an interview will receive an official letter by e-mail in the third week of June 2012. We cannot gaurantee further correspondence about the results.
Application Requirements:
1. A completed application form. Applications not following the form will be discarded.
2. Attach a CV of maximum 3 pages as well as two referents the committee may reach by phone.
Course Fee
The fee for the course 2012-2013 is 10,000 euros. Besides the tutorials, workshops, galerie and exhibitis, as well as lectures, costs for accomodations during the various excursions, as well as intercity travel (like tram, metro, city bus) are included in the tuition.
This fee does not cover cost of travel (i.e. airline tickets, trains, petroleum costs) to and from your residence to the designated program location. Participants in the program are required to organize their specific visas prior to subsequent events on their own. De Appel will provide the required invitation letters necessary for entry into any given country of destination.
The fee can be paid at once, or in four equal installments:
1 September 2012, 1 December 2012, 1 March 2013, 1 June 2013
De Appel arts centre is not able to give grants but will support in finding grant or other funding.
